A major UK bank is delivering a multi-year digital transformation programme and needs an experienced IT Consulting Programme Manager to own a complex technology workstream.
The engagement is inside IR35 via umbrella. The client wants someone who has run technology delivery in a regulated financial institution before - not someone learning on the job.
Day to day
You will sit between the programme board, the technology leads, and the vendor partners. Your job is to keep delivery honest and escalate early when it is not.
Requirements
- 8+ years in IT programme management or senior consulting
- Previous experience in UK retail or investment banking
- PRINCE2 or MSP certified (PMI acceptable)
- Comfortable presenting to MD-level stakeholders
- Knowledge of FCA-regulated change programmes preferred
